Our Profile The Law Offices of Lynda Latta, LLC is a full-service family law firm inspired by the desire to help clients work through some of the most difficult emotional times in their lives. Together with clients, the attorneys develop a strategy for resolving the legal issues whether it be negotiation, mediation and settlement facilitation, collaborative law, arbitration or litigation. As attorneys in a firm, Ms. Latta and Ms. Ellison are fortunate to be able to discuss cases with each other to brainstorm possible alternatives and strategies. Lynda Latta has practiced predominantly in the following areas of family law and criminal misdemeanor defense, including but not limited to domestic relations, divorce, adoptions, custody, child support, protective orders, and grandparent rights. She was admitted to the State Bar of New Mexico in 1986. US District Court for NM and The Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals (1987). She received her BA at the University of Colorado (1983). Juris Doctorate from Willamette University (1986). She is a member of the Albuquerque Bar Association and the Kiwanis Club. Back to Top

Linda L. Ellison practices exclusively in the areas of divorce and family law. She is a Board Certified Specialist in Family Law. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and English Literature from Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana. Juris Doctorate from University of New Mexico School of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico (Family Law Section Board member since 2002: chair in 2005: CLE committee member since 2004) Albuquerque Bar Association. Albuquerque Collaborative Practice Group International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. She holds licenses with the State of New Mexico (1992). United States District Court for the State of New Mexico (1995). The Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals (1995). She is a trained mediator and serves as part of the settlement facilitation pool for the Second Judicial District Court in Bernalillo County, New Mexico. Back to Top
